Leyton - The Tempest

The week ahead

Our ambition: to present our adaptation of The Tempest for you by the end of the week. We're going to play and work hard and have lots of fun. We're going to learn about Shakespeare and the age in which he wrote. Yes, we're going to learn about iambic pentameter - not only that, your 5 to 11 year olds will write their own verse, and speak lots of Shakespeare! We'll create characters. We'll design our set, props, costume, puppets. We'll learn some story telling skills like puppetry, mask, stage combat. And we'll have so much fun....did I say that already?
